Happy colors are a great way to set the stage for a bubbly summer wedding. The most liked combination these days for a summer wedding is turquoise combined with yellow. Below are some ways and thoughts on how to use these happy colors.

The turquoise and yellow colors are definitely a summer wedding color palette since they are in very light shades. The bright carefree shades are perfect for the lazy days of the summer season. These bright carefree shades are especially well suited to an outdoor wedding for the reason that even the brightest colors do not feel overpowering when seen within nature. The green of the grass and trees will make a natural bridge amid the blue and yellow colors. You may also wish to incorporate additional touches of green into the color palette to draw in more of that natural beauty to your wedding decorations.

Yellow is one of the easy colors to find flowers in; on the other hand, turquoise tends to be an easier color to wear. That will lead to the conclusion that the color turquoise will be the bridesmaids’ dresses with yellow bouquets would be ideal for your wedding ceremony. For a summer wedding, a cotton strapless dress would look great and elegant but not too formal. If you wish for a more casual effect, a simple silver bridesmaid’s jewelry would be a great accent or go for custom crystal bridesmaid jewelry in turquoise for a more trendy style. Whichever way, your bridesmaid will look great.

There are a number of fabulous yellow flowers that you can use for your bouquets and centerpieces. Two of the trendiest flowers are the dahlias and billy balls (officially called craspedia) and these flowers both come in rich golden yellow shades. If you want something really flashy, decide on enormous dinner plate dahlia bouquets – it will only take a couple of stems to create an impressive bouquet. While the billy balls, on the other hand, are whimsical and offbeat. These flowers pair well with other non-traditional elements like the succulents. The bride could use some of the yellow flowers in her bouquet, possibly in combination with the white flowers to set it apart.

The turquoise table linens are perfect choice for the wedding reception. Top the tables with white and yellow flowers in white vases as the centerpieces and you will definitely have a very special look. The white chiavari or wooden folding chairs will also provide a visual break from all of the bright colors that you will have in your reception. It would also be charming to adorn the back of the bride and groom’s chairs with a garland of yellow and turquoise paper garlands or paper flowers. The larger versions of the paper decorations can be balanced over the dessert table or at the guest book table for a more fun effect. These decorations are an easy DIY project, most especially when you are only using them in a limited area and do not need a large number of garlands or paper flowers.
